Abstract :
In this paper, a particle swarm optimization (PSO) based linear-quadratic (LQ) state-feedback regulator is investigated. The parameters of LQ regulators are determined by PSO method. A practical example of a rotating inverse pendulum is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the PSO-based LQ regulators.
