Abstract :
The research program in information systems (IS) at the University of Texas at Austin supports three streams of research: the management of the IS organization, the use and effect of information technology in organizations, and the development of information technology. The authors describe recent and ongoing research in these areas and discuss the PhD program that has been put in place to prepare future scholars
