Statistical approach for harmonics measurements and calculations

A study of the harmonics summation problem has been carried out, including a literature survey, calculations and measurements. Summation laws are given for vectors with varying amplitudes and phases, according to the nonexceeding probability, the variation range and the statistical distribution. Measurement results provide a link between theoretical vectors and practical harmonics. Some guidelines are suggested for assessing emission limits before connecting a new disturbing load
