Abstract
The paper treats the auto-calibration of sensors based on the test method that allows correction of additive, multiplicative and linearity error of sensor. Test method is based on the local approximation of nonlinear conversion function by linear dependence. The degree of approximation depends on parameters modifying measured signal. Paper presents the analysis of relationship among mentioned approximation parameters and quantization error of A/D (analog to digital) converter used for test method realization by microcomputer. Knowledge of those relationships allows definition of the requirements on values of modifying parameters of the described method and A/D converter resolution.
