A tool for studying context in Image sequences

The authors have built a tool for studying the relevance of temporal context in the field of image sequences interpretation. Their tool is written in an object-oriented language they have developed, AIRELLE. The authors have chosen the model of a blackboard as the general architecture of the system, because of its efficiency, general nature, declarativity and possibilities of evolution. In the first part of the paper, the toolbox enabling the various blackboard models to be built is described. Then, the implementation of the system is presented and it is shown how to use it in order to study context
