Abstract
Conceptually the same as a Next-Generation Network, the Broadband convergence Network (hereinafter referred to as "BcN") refers to a network developed to be suitable for an environment in which there is a convergence between wired and wireless communications and broadcasting. The BcN is being prepared as the next phase of super high speed Internet. As part of the work of BcN construction, the National Information Society Agency (hereinafter referred to as "NIA") is pushing ahead with the BcN pilot project, together with telecommunication operators, broadcasting operators and equipment vendors. The pilot project chiefly consists of building the All IP based unified networks, developing converged services, and providing trial subscribers with the services. The drifts and attitudes of trial subscribers as to the use of services are important touchstones for network construction and future service evolution. This study aims to present the responses of subscribers to pilot services and the suggestions.
