Abstract :
In this paper, we introduce a new successive interference cancellation (SIC) algorithm for a direct sequence code division multiple access system (DS-CDMA) with transmit diversity. The transmit diversity is achieved with a space-time block code (STBC). The performance improvement with SIC and STBC in a Rayleigh fading channel is determined.
