Abstract :
One of the important problems of antenna theory and technology is that of forming flat-topped element patterns in antenna arrays because its solution provides either maximum array gain in a given scan sector with the minimum number of active elements or maximum gain in the maximum scan sector corresponding to a given interelement spacing. The results of theoretical and experimental investigation are given for a model of this antenna.<>
