Abstract :
CPCER (continuous pilot channel estimation with regression) algorithm based on LS spreading codes character of having IFW (interference free window) has been proposed to improve the performance of channel estimation in LAS-CDMA (large area synchronize code division multiple access) system. In this paper, system performance when CPCER employed is analyzed with a method called equivalent channel analysis method. It shows that the error rate probability can be expressed as a function of Doppler shift and the correlation coefficient that is decided by CPCER. The analysis proves that comparing with conventional continuous pilot channel estimation method (CCPCE), CPCER can improve channel estimation accuracy and system performance greatly.
