Abstract :
There are many methods to ground generators. This paper will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each. This paper will progress from low-resistance grounding of a single source to complex systems with multiple sources. Although this paper is focused on medium-voltage bus-connected generators, there is no reason the techniques could not be utilized in low-voltage multiple-source systems.
