Abstract :
A recent two-dimensional (2-D) direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation method proposed by Wei and Guo has a flaw that the existence of sources with the same or nearly the same impinging angles along x-axis subarray or y-axis subarray will result in incorrect DOA estimation. This comment proposes a feasible solution to patch the original method.
