Humans are at a great divide. Where our ancestors left behind few records, we´re creating and preserving increasingly complete digital traces and models of almost every aspect of our lives. This special issue of IEEE Internet Computing explores technologies and challenges, from small user-centric models of individuals to real-time analytics on large aggregations of user data.
