Abstract :
Broadly speaking, engineering in the traditional sense brings together technology, processes, governance, standardization, and people to ensure disciplined execution of business projects/tasks regardless of their size and complexity. Given this definition, cloud engineering refers to bringing these engineering principles to cloud computing. This issue presents several feature articles on the theme of cloud engineering, as well as a regular theme feature that looks at distributed cameras in the cloud, and a selection of columns and departments.
