Abstract :
In this paper we present a java implementation for prime fields and binary fields. This is quite important as there can be constructed several techniques in cryptography and coding theory. The implementation is presented as set of classes, their organization and how actually is taken advantage of that to improve the performance. Finally, it is reported several tests regarding timings of each one of operations implemented.
