    This is the tenth issue in a series of special issues on plasma-assisted technologies (PATs). Contributions from a growing field with many new multidisciplinary plasma applications have resulted in the largest issue to date. This follows on the success of the nine previous issues, dating back to the original IEEE-TPS Special Issue on Plasma-Assisted Combustion published in December 2006.
