Abstract :
This work presents some new results regarding the automation of pollen grains classification using computer vision. A technique based on the Bag of Visual Words and Supervised Machine Learning algorithms is proposed and evaluated. A dataset of pollen grain images taken from 9 different pollen types was created and used in the experiments.
