Abstract :
This paper presents practical tool to analyse of the propagation channel in outdoor and indoor radio communications systems. It is based on geometrical optics and the ray launching technique. A quasi-3D model considering 2D propagation in two orthogonal planes (horizontal and vertical) has been used to analyse the three-dimensional propagation of the radio waves inside the buildings.
