Abstract
We demonstrate how the object-oriented methodology TAD, which is suitable for use in fields of business process modeling, business process reengineering and information systems development, was used to model and improve a business process. The case considered is a sales-claim process in a Slovenian wholesale and retail trading company dealing in technical goods. To begin with, the issue of process modeling is discussed and the business process itself is briefly described. Secondly, the tool - tabular application development methodology - that was used to model the business process is presented. Finally, the advantages of TAD over other related business process modeling techniques are shown.
