Abstract
In the paper a new method of multivariable predictive control is presented. The main advantage of the predictive approach is that multivariable plants with time delay can be handled easily. The proposed control algorithm introduces a compact and very easy design also in the case of higher order and phase non-minimal plants, but it is limited to open-loop stable plants. Some stability issues of the proposed control law are discussed. The algorithm is tested on a simulated plant.
