Abstract
The basic idea of augmented reality is overlaying virtual objects on a real world image thus "augmenting" the real world image which we currently see. This technology could be very useful in various domains like medicine, automobile, plane industry and space research. The paper presents the first experience with the design and implementation of a personal companion, a tool which could serve as an interactive virtual laboratory. The aim of this research is to implement such system in educational processes.
