Abstract :
Computer simulation using particles is a numerical method for solving various problems with use of a basic element - particle. Particles in modeled system behave in accordance to rules used to describe the system. JaCob, as an example of computer simulation using particles method was used to evaluate and analyze the method. With a choice of moderate number of particles, numerical error of the method was around 5%. The comparison with a finite elements method showed that the relative numerical error is similar and in same cases even lower than at the finite elements method.
