Abstract :
In the paper, a new transmission service pricing method is presented. Although it exploits the loading patterns of the network it is essentially an ex-ante pricing method. A statistical analysis of the power flow tracing results for a wide set of operating states has been carried out to verify that the consumer´s power takes practically the same paths from the neighboring power sources causing proportional losses in the network. The proposed method fairly and transparently allocates the total transmission costs among the consumers before the trading is performed, hence it gives the appropriate economical signals to the market players.
