Abstract :
Nowadays, the research and development of modem RF power amplifiers have demanded an accurate study concentrated on their linearity. Besides the distortions caused by the nonlinear devices, we have been having constant improvement in the implementation of new modulation techniques by exploring the spectrum properties. The nonlinear performance caused by the devices is a fundamental effect, which has invoked much worldwide research, including that of the transmission of digital signals for TV. In this paper, we present some fundamental steps already accomplished in projects for equipment for digital transmission HDTV systems that the INATEL, with the Linear Electronic Equipment Co., have been implementing in Brazil.
