Performance improvement concept for three-phase four-wire VSI with sinusoidal voltage output

The paper presents a method of performance improvement for a sinusoidal voltage source inverter (SVSI). The concept is based on the application of neutral point clamped converter topology. The advantages of the proposed solution are best realized in application where low voltage and high power loads are needed. The paper presents the converter topology, principles of operation and validating simulation and experimental results.
