  • Abstract
    Strain gauges are widely used for detection in different applications. If used in pressure sensors, it can show for example how much fluid is presently inside a tank. By advance in detection technology, new types of sensors are developed. Development of new ceramic materials with piezoelectric properties allows progress fast as never imagined before. Piezoresistive properties are of special importance in operation of new ceramic sensors. These new ceramic sensors are described in this article and their principle of operation.
