  • Abstract
    Modal interference fibre optic sensor (MIFOS) for permanent monitoring of the network is presented. A mechanical disturbance of a fibre cable influences on intensity distribution at the end-face of a multimode fibre. A laboratory arrangement of the sensor and its experimental research are shown.
