Educational materials for e-learning about signalling systems in telecommunication networks

Telecommunication signalling is a very important issue in telecommunication networks, but is often unknown by telecommunication engineering students. We present the educational materials for computer based training on signalling systems in telecommunication networks. This course can be used as an off-line or on-line self-learning tool. It concerns Common Channel Signalling System no.7 (SS7) and Digital Subscriber Signalling System no.1 (DSSI). The prepared materials are based on a real network environment, but they do not need access to the real network and signalling links.
