Abstract :
This paper presents an approach to the design of low power SI filters. The filters use a new type of integrator which is built with equal size transistors. The design parameter is the channel length. Thanks to the proposed design, power consumption falls below 1mW, and the integrator is less sensitive with respect to variations of production parameters. The design method is illustrated by an example of a third-order elliptic filter. The layout in 0.35/spl mu/m CMOS technology of the filter is also presented. Simulation results show that the presented approach can be used to realize low-power high-precision SI filters.
