Abstract
A general and simple method for analysis of the planar transmission lines and their discontinuities with multilayered anisotropic media is presented. The method is based on a quasi-static approach, using the charge simulation method and the space-domain Green´s function of some fictive electrical charges. The procedure is novel from two points of view. First, an improvement of the space-domain Green´s function convergence is achieved. Second, a modification of the conventional charge simulation method is made, greatly reducing the number of matching points and the corresponding matrix size. In this way, the efficiency of the procedure is improved.
