Abstract
A hybrid simulation system consisting of a EAI 2000 parallel processor and an IBM AT compatible personal computer with the ability to program the analog part from the digital computer is described. Both parts of the hybrid system are connected through Burr Brown´s PCI 20000 interface and RS232 serial line. The software module for the analog part of the hybrid system makes it easier to work with the EAI 2000, e.g., defining the analog model, restoring data needed for the simulation run, controlling the simulation run, and permitting documentation of the simulation results or its graphical representations in run time.
