  • Abstract
    A software package is described that, in an interactive terminal network, links separated local data stored in microcomputers to databases of the central computer system, thus building an online distributed database. The authors explain the connections between the local Clipper (DBASE) applications and the central ULTRA (VAX) database. The data requests to the central system and returning data and operation status codes are explained.
