    The paper is presenting a core idea of the IST Content 4 All research project, oriented towards establishing an open-source cross-media framework for communication and information exchange. The framework is taking advantage of new distribution channels such as "peer-to-peer" networks, and aims at creation of virtual communities which meet both individual users´ and businesses´ needs
