Support of the blood transfusion diagnostic process with telemedicine

The paper presents an upgrade of an existing information system supporting the blood transfusion service with the telemedical system. Proposed telemedical system provides its users with the ability to exchange medical data referring the medical patient case. Using the proposed system, doctors are able to consult ambiguous medical cases regardless of their physical location. Teleconsulting session is user friendly and enhanced with multimedia technology. The fact that the results of the diagnostic processes can be photographed the system for exchange of diagnostic data can be implemented with ease.
