Abstract :
Single sign-on systems are traditionally vulnerable to DoS attack since robustness was considered an afterthought at the time when most protocols were designed. This paper advocates the need to detect and counteract DoS attacks in SSO systems and presents a way to accomplish this through Bayesian inference and threshold puzzles
