CARRD.NET - Software for Planning Radio-Relay Networks

CARRD.NET enables quick and easy design of point-to-point (PP) and passive repeaters microwave networks by simply entering the site coordinates; geographic distribution of radio stations, output powers, antenna radiation patterns, filter suppression of neighboring channels and receiver thresholds as well as the repeaters details; and coordinates for each link into a simple set of forms. The paper gives detailed description of module for calculation of interference in the network with a special consideration for the role of passive reflectors, by whose increase the network jamming increases exponentially.
