Abstract :
Charge carrier´s (electron or hole) propagation in rectangular quantum rod was investigated. It turned out that in rod the autoreduction process takes place. Using advanced Green´s functions techniques, suitable for analyses of broken-symmetry structures, the charge carrier´s concentrations are found and a behavior of autoreduction was estimated. It was shown that specific skin effect appears in quantum rods
