Abstract :
A novel technique for generating optical single sideband channels in order to achieve greater than 1 bit/s/Hz bandwidth and spectral efficiency values without any polarization-multiplexing or source-coding is proposed and demonstrated. This transmission technique is shown to be robust to fiber dispersion
