Abstract :
This work includes air vehicle motion modeling fundamentals which is an important part of a tactical environment simulation software. The main purpose of the tactical environment simulation software is the modeling of all entities that is subject to tactical environment with all kinematics and active and passive sensors. For instance, it is very important to model motion of entities that can be detected in the air with high speed and fidelity. In this direction, a vehicle capability model is derived according to vehicle specific types and air density which depends on altitude. Furthermore, waypoint, commanded and catch navigation models are used in order to model motion characteristics of air vehicles. User can define and play a simulation scenario using those models
