Managing competence for safety-related systems

This paper presents the document about draft guidance on how to ensure and manage the competence of those involved with electrical, electronic and computer-based safety-related systems. The rest of this paper introduces the main features of a competence management system as recommended by the guidance. It discusses issues that arose during the development of the guidelines and many of the issues raised during public consultation.
