Abstract
The author examines the resynchronization properties of the frequency-hopping address sequences that have been proposed as an alternative to the Reed-Solomon address sequences. It is shown that the new address sequences have been better resynchronization properties than the corresponding Reed-Solomon address sequences. The author has also derived an expression for the exact number of the new address sequences and shown that it is very close to the theoretical limit.
