Abstract :
A new method of taking the main saturation effect into account in the differential equations of an induction motor by introducing the position vector is presented. The resulting differential equations are used in the observer system of an induction motor. The observer is adopted (using simplification) by a signal processor in a system with an induction motor fed by a current controlled voltage source inverter. Possibility of simplification is shown by digital simulation.
