Abstract :
Dividing GF(2/sup n/) into parallel planes is used for the construction of a family of binary sequences, that are suitable for the CDMA spread spectrum communication. The sequences have the period 2/sup n/-1 bits (n=0(mod4)). The number of the sequences in the family is 2/sup n/2/. The auto/crosscorrelation being bounded by a value 2/sup n/2+1/-1. The sequences can achieve large equivalent linear span and their imbalance can be minimized by the construction.
