  • Abstract
    Three multiple-dwell detector rules-immediate rejection, up-down counter and two-step rejection-in a serial search code acquisition procedure of a direct-sequence spread-spectrum receiver are compared from the mean acquisition time point of view. The superiority of the up-down counter type of detector is documented.
