Abstract :
"Field buses" and "area network" are complex to understand. We decided therefore to conduct a study how to improve the understanding of regarding "communication in automatic". We decide to start working on independent student projects which would contain work on the selection of used tools and their applications. Project "controlling mini car over internet with use of CAN area network" was extremely complex. Experience indicated that we would have to pay a lot of attention to choosing the correct tools and, of course, defining and distributing the project functional among the students
