Abstract :
A numerical method enabling the calculation of a universal microwave mixer circuit and optimization procedures determining the input and output impedances needed to minimize the receiver noise figure are presented. Results of calculations of a mm-wave mixer with Schottky and Mott diodes and with subharmonic pumping are compared.
