Abstract :
A continuation method for the computation of the tuning characteristics of microwave oscillators, based on a predictor corrector algorithm, is presented. As special attention is directed to robustness of the path following procedure the simulation software based on this method allowes completely automatized parameter studies. The method is applied to the simulation of a 15 GHz microwave oscillator where dependence of output power and oscillation frequency on a bias voltage are studied.
