Abstract :
The adaptive property of the differential tracking method that every previous approximation step to signal becomes the center of observation with the exponential increasing resolution in the new step gives a possibility of reduction the time of conversion in two ways: shorting the time of a single step and also of the whole conversion. The best trade between the number of decision levels and the settling time is with pure exponential quantization rule.
