Abstract :
Parallel to the increasing number of applications of the microwave heating effect, the number of publications regarding numerical modeling of the phenomenon is also growing. In this paper a 1D analytical model has been presented giving the researchers one more tool -besides experiments -to verifying the accuracy of various numerical models. In order to show the applicability of the model to testing such algorithms the authors have done a comparison of two modeling approaches popular in the literature.
