A Web System for Learning Basic Concept of IP Networking

Computer network technologies have been growing explosively. Teaching computer networking principles can be enhanced using Web-based system. In this paper, a Web application for distance learning of basic concepts of IP networking is presented. The utilization of the application and how it is implemented are described. The system offers self-testing and learning facilities meant to be used by students in lab in the process of studying and exam preparation. This application is written in Java programming language, and it can be used as a component in distance learning process for computer network, especially for teaching and learning IP addressing via Internet.
