Abstract :
This paper presents architecture overview of a .NET runtime for scheduling and executing futures on modern multiprocessor machines that is based on the lazy task creation technique. The runtime is responsible for efficient load balancing of fine-grained tasks on platform´s processors and allows any function accessible from .NET to be called as a future.
